Facility Design

Facility Design

CVE is at the forefront of repair and collision facility design. Our facility design team is dedicated to investing the time needed to create the ideal layout that enables a facility to achieve peak productivity. We collaborate closely with facility owners to analyze how various products can be integrated to deliver the desired outcomes, all while focusing on excellent design. Whether the facility owner’s objective is to streamline their technicians’ focus on the work bays, increase the number of cars passing through the shop, or optimize space utilization with vertical storage units, CVE can provide solutions that drive their success.

Facility Design & Layout

CVE plays a pivotal role in facility design, whether it’s for a brand-new service facility or a renovation of an existing one. Our facility design team, comprised of experienced sales consultants, project managers, estimators, and CAD drafters, collaborates with facility owners to evaluate their specific needs and offer valuable expertise on efficient design and layout. They also provide insights into the array of products available in the marketplace. During the project planning phase, our facility design team maintains ongoing meetings with the owners to fine-tune the layout as necessary. Throughout this process, our team works in close coordination with the architects and engineers engaged in the project to produce AutoCAD drawings that are ready for permits, streamlining the design discussions and ensuring a smooth design process.

Project Management

CVE is uniquely equipped and staffed to handle all the essential work in a facility project. With a team of full-time installers, we ensure that the project is completed within the necessary timeframes while maintaining superior quality. Our project managers oversee the entire process, from installing lifts and paint booths to setting up compressed air systems, fluid distribution systems, workstations, and parts shelving. This high level of coordination is what sets CVE apart from the competition.

As the project initiates during the planning stages, a project manager collaborates with the owner, architect, and general contractor to synchronize field operations with other trades involved in the project. This not only keeps the project on schedule but also establishes a central point of contact for construction communication, which aids in resolving construction conflicts in the field.

Equipment Specifications

CVE’s facility design team has substantial experience in drafting equipment specifications for automotive equipment projects. We engage in comprehensive discussions with the project owner, architect, or engineer to understand their specific equipment requirements and then develop equipment specifications designed to meet or surpass those needs.

When CVE’s experienced team is involved in a project, we conduct a thorough review of all project specifications to ensure that the equipment proposed for the project aligns with or surpasses those specifications. This quality assurance process is integral to delivering equipment that meets the project’s requirements and expectations.
