Lift Inspections

The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) recommends annual lift safety inspections. These inspections serve the dual purpose of ensuring that your lifts are operating safely and maintaining compliance with OSHA work safety requirements. CVE offers lift inspections that align with manufacturer-recommended inspection points and adhere to the guidelines outlined in ANSI/ALI ALOIM: 2020 Standard for Automotive Lifts – Safety Requirements for Operation, Inspection, and Maintenance. Following a successful lift inspection, you will receive a Lift Certificate confirming that the lift is in safe working condition at the time of the inspection.

Upon request, our ALI certified lift inspectors can also provide an ALI lift inspection, which is a more comprehensive and thorough examination compared to the required safety inspection.

Paint Booth Programs

CVE comprehends the challenges inherent in today’s collision marketplace and the demands placed on the collision industry. You’ve made significant capital investments in your paint equipment to meet these challenges, and it’s imperative for your success that this equipment operates at its maximum potential. Our objective is to ensure that your paint booths, paint prep decks, and associated paint equipment are well-maintained and fully operational, delivering the results you require. CVE offers a range of maintenance programs, all with one core objective: to keep your collision center operating at peak productivity.

The Value Proposition

What is the cost of a collision center that isn’t running at maximum capacity? The financial impact is significant, with just one less car completed in a day leading to staggering monetary losses. A single car less per day translates to an average reduction in daily sales of $2,000. Over a production schedule of five days per week and 52 weeks per year, this results in an astonishing $520,000 decrease in sales in a year. This situation can arise due to dirty, infrequently changed filters, burners operating incorrectly, inefficient motors, fans hindered by overspray buildup, or impaired visibility caused by burned-out or overspray-covered lights. All of these issues contribute to reduced production and, subsequently, a loss in sales. Furthermore, improper equipment care shortens its lifespan, potentially necessitating substantial spending on replacements before their expected obsolescence.

The Programs

CVE offers four levels of preventative maintenance programs, each structured around our industry-leading 14-point inspection. This comprehensive inspection encompasses various adjustments and modifications to ensure your equipment operates with maximum efficiency.

We also provide filter programs in various tiers, where our skilled technicians are scheduled to visit your collision center, removing old filters and installing fresh, clean ones. We offer filter sales and delivery programs for your convenience.

To eliminate overspray, maintain optimal fan and motor performance, and enhance visibility, we present an annual pressure washing program. As an additional service, you can opt for a booth coating to preserve booth cleanliness and reflectivity, ensuring proper lighting.
